Aurangabad: The Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture (CMIA) has joined hands with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to set up a help desk which will provide support to MSMEs. The help desk will provide information on various government safety guidelines, regulatory norms, schemes and support measures during the Covid-19 pandemic, states a release issued by CMIA. “The help desk will support MSMEs through in-person and telephonic consultation. It will offer advisory services on scaling operations and bridging the skill gap. It will also facilitate linkages to financial institutions and government departments,” said CMIA secretary Satish Lonika.”
“It will also help recruiting skilled workforce in partnership with state skill development missions and other relevant government departments and support agencies. “The help desk will host regular webinars, consultation and interactive sessions for MSMEs to address or alleviate Covid-19 related business challenges. The help desk will be active till January 2021. MSMEs are requested to reach out to CMIA to benefit from the services being offered by the help desk,” Lonikar said.”
